Whether it’s PU. PE, tests have proven that temperature has a very strong influence on the results, so what exactly causes this? Is the formation of a good anti-sinking network structure sensitive to temperature or other? What is the mechanism of action? Please explain.

 

A: Temperature has a great influence on the anti-sinking and anti-flow hanging of paint system, mainly from the following three aspects of anti-sinking and anti-flow hanging.

1, the temperature of the paint system viscosity value, the higher the temperature, the lower the viscosity. The higher the temperature, the lower the viscosity. The lower the viscosity, the worse the anti-sinking will be.

2, the higher the temperature, the greater the kinetic energy of the components of the system movement, anti-sinking and anti-flow hanging of the required three-dimensional mesh structure is more likely to be unstable.

3, for wax (polyethylene wax/polyamide wax anti-sinking agent) anti-sinking agent, the higher the temperature, the more tendency to dissolve, dissolved, there is no anti-sinking performance, cooling down will also be precipitated back to the coarse, so we all know that the production process should be strictly control the paint temperature.
