What is Sinocure® ITX ?
1. Photoinitiator ITX is a highly efficient photoinitiator which, when used in conjunction with tertiary amine synergists, induces the rapid photo-polymerisation of suitable resin formulations. Suggested levels of use are 0.25 – 3% w/w
2. photoinitiator ITX together with 2 – 5% w/w amine synergist such as photoinitiator EDB or DMB (quantities vary depending on individual formulations and applications).
3. this product is also can be used with Photoinitiator 307 or Irgacure 907.
Sinocure® ITX (2-Isopropylthioxanthone) function
1. Has good solubility in most common organic solvents and UV curable monomers.
2. UV absorption spectrum shows two major absorption bands.
3. Allows possibility of producing a single liquid additive comprising both initiator and synergist.
4. this product can act as an efficient long wave sensitiser for Type I and Type II photoinitiators.
5. Absorption at 258 nm promotes surface cure of films.
6. Absorption at 383 nm promotes excellent depth cure in pigmented and thick films
7. This product is a thianthrone photoinitiator, which must be combined with appropriate active amines to achieve high photoinitiating activity. This product will be mixed with Sinocure®EDB CAS 10287-53-3 for higher activity.
Sinocure® ITX (2-Isopropylthioxanthone) Usage
1. This product can prepare a UV offset printing ink for iron.
2. The material components and weight percentage are: polyester acrylic resin is 19, special acrylic resin is 41-50, talc is 4 4.5, SR9020 is 1.9-10.4, photoinitiator 907 is 5-6, photoinitiator ITX is 2-3, photoinitiator BDK is 1, photoinitiator 369 is 0-3, 510 auxiliary is 0.1, color pigment is 10.4-17.3, color pigment is one of four colors, red is selected The pigment is magenta, the pigment used for yellow is a medium yellow pigment, the pigment used for sky blue is phthalocyanine blue, and the pigment used for black is a mixture of phthalocyanine blue, carbon black and violet.
3. The beneficial effects of the present invention are: good adhesion, no ink drop after a hundred tests reach 5B, and at the same time meet the requirements of post-processing, and the ink film does not crack by simple mechanical stretching.
