Solubility: Soluble in ethanol, ether, chloroform, insoluble in water. It has a sweet taste and a rose scent.

Benzophenone Usage
1. Benzophenone is a highly efficient free radical (II) type solid photoinitiator, mainly used with tertiary amine synergists for unsaturated prepolymer (e.g.: acrylate) UV curing.
2. Benzophenone is mainly used in free radical UV curing varnish system, such as UV wood varnish, UV paper varnish, UV coatings, UV inks, UV adhesives, etc., but also organic pigments, pharmaceuticals, fragrances, pesticides intermediates.
3. Benzophenone in the pharmaceutical industry is mainly used in the production of bicyclohexylpiperidine, benztropine hydrobromide, benzhydryl hydrochloride, etc. It is also an inhibitor of styrene polymerization and fragrance fixing agent, can give fragrance to sweet smell, widely used in perfumes and soap fragrances.
4. Benzophenone can be used in the cosmetic industry for sunscreen oil / cream.
5. Because of its low price, it is also widely used. BP also has the function of anti-oxidation and anti-polymerization, and the surface anti-oxidation effect is better.
6. Benzophenone is also used as an intermediate in the synthesis of organic pigments, pharmaceuticals, fragrances and pesticides.
