Dimethyldioctylammonium Chloride chloride Usage
Dioctadecyldimethylammonium chloride is a quaternary ammonium-based antimicrobial agent used as a bacteriostat, disinfectant and/or microbicide. It is ideal for use in recirculating water systems where control of harmful microorganisms without excessive foaming is critical. It is mainly used in the following fields:
1. Oilfield water injection, industrial circulating cooling water biocide.
2. Used as a disinfectant, fungicide and wood preservative.
3. Used as textile moth-proofing agent.
4. When treating hard surfaces, it can be mixed with chlorine dioxide to kill bacteria.
