MBP is an effective Type II photoinitiator from the benzophenone family, with absorption maximum at 259.nm.
MBP is an effective Type II photoinitiator from the benzophenone family, with absorption maximum at 259.nm. MBP provides high reactivity and surface cure when used at 0.5-5 wt% ,when combination with tertiary amine synergists, it can initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers e.g. acrylates after exposure to UV light.
