Methacrylatoethyl Trimethyl Ammonium Chloride Usage
1. Methacryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride is a cationic monomer, and the polymer obtained by its reaction has strong polarity and affinity for anionic substances, so it can be widely used as a cationic flocculant. For example, acrylamide (AM) and methacryloyloxyethyltrimethylammonium chloride (DMC) are used as raw materials, and cationic polyacrylamide P (AM-DMC) can be synthesised by aqueous solution polymerisation under the effect of irradiation by metal halide lamps and initiators. It can be used in sludge dewatering process of sewage treatment plant and wastewater treatment of paper making, coal flotation, printing, dyestuff and other industries.
2. In addition, DMC can be used to produce acid-resistant high absorbency resins and fine polymer products such as oilfield chemicals and fibre additives.

This method regulates the formation of polymer and its spatial network structure through the special structure on the surface of Pozzolanic clay, thus increasing the gap between effective adsorption molecules and improving the adsorption performance.
