Antioxidant 1035 Application scenarios

1. Plastics and Polymers
• Polyolefins: such as polyethylene (PE), low-density polyethylene (LDPE), polypropylene (PP), etc. Provides efficient processing stability and long-term thermal stability, especially suitable for wire and cable insulation materials (such as XLPE), effectively preventing material aging during high-temperature processing and use.

• Engineering Plastics: such as ABS, polystyrene (PS), polyurethane (PU), polyamide (PA), polyester (PET), etc.
Good compatibility with various polymers, preventing performance degradation during processing or final use.

• Other Plastics: such as polyvinyl acetate (PVA), polybutene, etc. Provides antioxidant protection.

2. Rubber and Elastomers
Ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), and other synthetic rubbers.
Prevents cracking, hardening, or loss of elasticity in rubber due to heat, oxygen, and ozone, extending product life.

3. Adhesives and Sealants
Hot-melt adhesives, solvent-based adhesives, etc.
Protects adhesives under high-temperature processing and use conditions, preventing failure due to oxidation, especially suitable for hot-melt adhesive applications.

4. Coatings and Oils
Coatings, lubricating oils, greases, etc.
Delays the aging of coatings after film formation and the oxidative degradation of oils during use.

5. Other High-Performance Applications
Damping materials, light stabilization materials, etc. (based on academic research).
For example, research shows that it can enhance the damping performance of polyacrylate emulsion (PAE) or inhibit the photo-oxidation of styrene-butadiene copolymers.

💡 Usage and Selection Notes
The following points are worth noting in practical applications:

Typical Addition Amount: The recommended addition amount is usually between 0.1% and 0.3% of the total weight of the material. The specific amount needs to be adjusted according to the polymer type, processing conditions, and final performance requirements.

Synergistic Effects: In actual formulations, antioxidant 1035 is often used in combination with other types of auxiliary antioxidants (such as phosphites) or light stabilizers to achieve a more comprehensive protective effect.

Storage and Safety: Should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place away from light. As an industrial chemical, it is intended for industrial or research purposes only and should not be used in food, pharmaceuticals, or cosmetics.
