Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WAC-1706 is a waterborne acrylic binder intended for pigment dispersion and ink development. The emulsion is designed to wet and envelop pigment particles, supporting fluid color concentrates and color clarity, with red pigment grinding identified as a particular application. Its liquid viscosity is 50-500 mPa·s at 25 °C and its pH range is 7.0-10.0. Alcohol compatibility should be evaluated at the intended addition level and with the complete pigment package. Establish grinding efficiency, dispersion stability, color development and final ink performance through trials rather than assuming interchangeability with another commercial resin.

Formulation and Handling
Screen the pigment package and dispersant requirement under the intended milling conditions.
Verify alcohol compatibility and dispersion stability at the actual formulation concentration.
Keep containers sealed and avoid exposure below the recommended storage range.
- Tg is not a minimum film-formation temperature.
- Regulatory suitability, restricted-substance limits and application-specific emissions requirements need separate verification.
- No drop-in equivalence to another commercial grade is claimed.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store sealed at 5-30 °C. Avoid freezing and storage below 5 °C, which may irreversibly damage the emulsion. Stated shelf life: 12 months under the recommended conditions.
