Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-1150 is intended for formulations in which softness and extension are more important than a hard surface finish. Its anionic aliphatic polyurethane dispersion forms a level, full-bodied film and is suited to printing pastes, waterborne leather treatments and coatings on elastic materials. The stated 100% modulus is 0.6-1.2 MPa, with elongation at break of at least 1000%, providing a useful starting profile for flexible products. Application viscosity, pigment loading and drying conditions should be adjusted in the complete formulation. Confirm hand feel, adhesion and extension on the actual production substrate.

Formulation and Handling
Evaluate compatibility with the intended pigments, fillers and formulation additives.
Check coating adhesion and flexibility after drying under the intended production conditions.
- Film mechanical values require confirmation using an agreed specimen preparation and test procedure.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 12 months under these conditions.
