1. 🧴 Cuidados pessoais e cosméticos
Main use: As a water-soluble chemical sunscreen agent, it is widely used in sunscreens, sun lotions, face creams, hand creams, and sunscreen sprays to directly protect the skin from UV damage.
Outros usos: Used in hair gels, mousses, and other hair care products to prevent hair damage, fading, or graying due to sun exposure. It also improves the stability of products such as shampoos and shower gels.
2. 🛡️ Polymer Materials
Main use: As a light stabilizer, it is added to plastics (such as polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride), coatings, and rubber to prevent aging, yellowing, embrittlement, or performance degradation caused by light exposure, thus extending their service life.
3. 👕 Textiles
Main use: Used in the treatment of dyed textiles to improve color fastness to light, prevent yellowing of wool products, and prevent fading of synthetic fiber fabrics.
4. Pesquisa científica
Main use: As a research reagent, it is used in photodegradation research, materials science (such as studying how to introduce UV absorption functions into polymers or coatings), and environmental science research (as a model compound to study the environmental fate of sulfonic acid substances in aquatic systems).
