Product Overview
CHLUMIFE® WAX-6359 is a matting wax additive supplied as an aqueous microdispersion, rather than a polyurethane binder. Its relatively large dispersed particles are intended to modify the surface of waterborne coatings, combining gloss reduction with improved resistance to scratching and wear. It can be evaluated in clear protective finishes, floor paints and leather-finishing systems where surface appearance and durability must be balanced. Increasing the addition level can change gloss as well as other film properties. Select the level through trials in the complete formulation, checking dispersion stability, clarity, surface feel and abrasion performance before production.

Formulation and Handling
Evaluate dispersion stability and film appearance with all resins, coalescents and other additives before scale-up.
Determine dosage from the required gloss and wear resistance; a fixed gloss reduction is not guaranteed across different binders.
Review the current SDS before handling.
- This is a wax dispersion additive, not a primary film-forming resin.
- Compatibility with coalescents and other formulation components requires testing to avoid flocculation.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

Store at 5-35 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and sunlight. Stated storage period: 12 months.
