Description
TMCHA — 3,3,5-Trimethylcyclohexyl acrylate
CHLUMICRYL® TMCHA is a cycloaliphatic monofunctional acrylate used as a reactive diluent in UV-curable formulations. Its trimethyl-substituted cyclohexyl group distinguishes it from ordinary cyclohexyl acrylate.

- Plastic and metal coating development.
- Adhesive and electronic-material formulations using cyclic monofunctional acrylates.
Grade Selection and Formulation Guidance
Evaluate TMCHA for dilution, substrate wetting and the required film properties. It has one acrylate group and is commonly blended with oligomers and multifunctional monomers. Specify the full chemical name and CAS because similar abbreviations can be used for other cyclic monomers.
Specification and Quality Documents
Please request the current TDS, SDS and available lot COA. Quotation and sample approval should establish the applicable assay or active-content method, viscosity and test temperature, color, acid value, moisture, and inhibitor type and level. Numerical release limits are confirmed for the offered grade.
Request a Sample or Quotation
For inkjet or coating work, include the required formulation viscosity, substrate and curing wavelength. Grade-specific viscosity, color and inhibitor values should be checked against the current TDS and sample results.
Include the quantity, destination and packaging preference. Commercial packaging, minimum order quantity and lead time are confirmed with the quotation. Follow the current SDS and container instructions for handling and storage.
