LA — Lauryl acrylate / Dodecyl acrylate
CHLUMICRYL® LA, also known as lauryl acrylate or dodecyl acrylate, is a monofunctional acrylate with a long aliphatic C12 side chain. It is a hydrophobic reactive monomer for acrylic polymer and UV/EB formulation development.

Grade Selection and Formulation Guidance
LA and LMA have the same lauryl side-chain designation but different polymerizable groups: LA is an acrylate and LMA is a methacrylate. When screening LA with multifunctional monomers, evaluate the balance between dilution, conversion and final network properties.

Quotation and sample approval should establish the applicable assay or active-content method, viscosity and test temperature, color, acid value, moisture, and inhibitor type and level. Numerical release limits are confirmed for the offered grade.
