Nucleating agent 3988 Usage
Mainly suitable for homopolymer and random copolymer polypropylene products and LLDPE film, can be directly blended with resin and can also be used for injection and extrusion molding.
Recommended dosage
It is recommended to add 0.2%-0.3% of 3988 to obtain the best performance, the specific amount of addition according to the actual needs of discretion.
Mixing and Dispersing
It is recommended to mix 3988 transparent agent and polypropylene powder/granule at high speed and then transfer to extruder feeder for extrusion pelletizing. A small amount of white mineral oil can be added to promote the dispersion of the transparent agent. Prevent uneven dispersion of the material. Transparency agent 3988 can also be prepared as a high concentration masterbatch and then diluted proportionally to the expected amount of the high concentration masterbatch.
Extrusion Pelletizing
A twin-screw extruder or a single-screw extruder with high mixing capacity is recommended for good dispersion to improve the permeability of 3988. Extrusion temperature is recommended to be above 230°C.
