CHLUMIAO®264 Usage

CHLUMIAO® 264 Antioxidant is a highly effective phenolic antioxidant specifically formulated to provide enduring protection for rubber and various polymeric materials. Suitable for natural rubber, synthetic rubbers (such as poly(para-xylene), styrene-butadiene rubber, acrylic esters, etc.), and plastic systems including polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride, it effectively delays thermal-oxidative ageing of materials, significantly extending service life.

This antioxidant exhibits outstanding resistance to copper damage and ozone degradation. When used in combination with waxes, it synergistically defends against climatic factors eroding vulcanised rubber. It demonstrates excellent dispersibility within rubber compounds, facilitating easy processing. It may be directly compounded into rubber mixtures or added as a dispersion into latex systems.

It finds extensive application in tyre sidewalls, light-coloured and transparent rubber goods, as well as daily necessities, medical rubber, rubber cloth, rubber footwear, and food contact-grade rubber products. Furthermore, CHLUMIAO® 264 serves as a post-treatment and storage stabiliser for synthetic rubber, while effectively inhibiting acid value increase and viscosity changes in lubricating oils and fuel oils.
