CHLUMIAG®3170 / Organosilicon Leveling Agent, Anti-Graffiti Additive, UV Coating Anti-Sticking Agent
Product Introduction:
This silicone surface additive is specifically formulated for easy-to-clean coating systems. It contains reactive OH groups that form chemical bonds with resins, resulting in a permanent hydrophobic, oleophobic, and dust-reducing effect on the film surface, improving washability. It also enhances anti-graffiti and anti-sticking properties.
This product is designed to improve substrate wetting, leveling, surface smoothness, water resistance (anti-whitening), anti-blocking, and weather resistance. Therefore, no other surface additives are required when evaluating this product. If necessary, phased addition tests are recommended.
Suitable for water-based two-component coating systems, high-temperature drying systems, and UV-cured coating systems. Applications include industrial coatings, can coatings, wood and furniture coatings, 3C coatings, and leather coatings.
Suitable reactive resin systems: two-component polyurethanes, alkyd-melamine, polyester-melamine, acrylic-melamine, acrylic-epoxy blends, and phenolic resins.

Application Recommendations
Recommended Dosage: 0.05-1% of the total formulation
Addition Method: Can be added at any stage of the production process. For easier addition, it can be diluted with a suitable solvent first.
Solvent Types: Alcohols, hydrocarbons, ethers, and esters can all be diluted in any ratio.

Precautions: This product must be pre-diluted with a hydrophilic solvent when used in aqueous systems.
Packaging and Storage: This product can be transported and stored as a non-hazardous chemical. Packaging specifications are 25Kg plastic drums, or customized according to user requirements. Store in a cool, dry, and sealed place. Shelf life: 12 months.
Contraindications: Avoid mixing with other additives.
