Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-415 is a surface-finishing resin for applications where low gloss and a soft tactile effect are desired together. The anionic aliphatic polyurethane dispersion is suited to paper finishing and leather surface treatment, with emphasis on black appearance and a fine, velvety feel. Its pH range is 7-9, and application rheology should be adjusted to the selected coating method. Assess the complete formulation on the intended substrate, because pigments, other binders and coat weight influence touch and appearance. Where the process includes heating, validate exposure temperature and duration on the actual coated article.

Formulation and Handling
Check the effect of pigments and blend resins on gloss and tactile properties.
Validate drying and any heat-processing conditions with the actual substrate.
- Heat-exposure suitability requires testing; no continuous service-temperature rating is specified.
- Final gloss and tactile effect are formulation and substrate dependent.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 6 months under these conditions.
