Rhodinal / Citronellal Application scenarios
1. Daily Chemicals and Fragrances:
Formulate fragrances for soaps, cosmetics, and other daily chemical products.
Mostly used in mid- to low-end soap fragrances to provide a fresh, grassy aroma.
2. Food Industry:
Formulate citrus (such as lemon and orange) and cherry flavorings.
It is a permitted food flavoring (e.g., Chinese standard GB 2760).
3. Synthetic Industrial Intermediates:
Used as a raw material in the production of other high-value fragrances.
Mainly used in the manufacture of citronellol and hydroxycitronellol (an important fragrance), and also one of the raw materials for the synthesis of menthol.
4. Used in the production of scented candles.
