Product Overview
WPU-6128 is a translucent polyurethane dispersion designed for PVC ink and coating applications. The resin is reported to form a smooth, glossy, flexible film with adhesion to PVC and PET substrates. Its tensile strength is 20-30 MPa, with elongation at break of at least 400% and water absorption of 3-5% after 24 hours at 25 °C. The viscosity limit is reported at 30 °C and should not be compared directly with values measured at other temperatures. Where increased water resistance is required, a compatible crosslinker can be evaluated within the complete formulation.

Formulation and Handling
Validate adhesion on the actual PVC or PET grade and surface treatment. If adding a crosslinker to improve water resistance, confirm its chemistry, dosage basis, compatibility and pot life before scale-up.
- This grade is presented as an ink and coating binder; a heat-activation requirement is not specified.
- The reported viscosity is measured at 30 °C.

Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Protect from freezing and direct light. Stated storage period: 12 months.
