Product Description

Phytase, also known as myo-inositol hexakisphosphate phosphohydrolase, is produced from selected high-quality strains such as Pichia pastoris through fermentation, extraction, purification and formulation. It catalyzes the hydrolysis of phytic acid and phytate salts into intermediate products such as phosphate and inositol, releasing phosphorus as well as chelated metal ions, proteins and amino acids.

Application Information

Phytase is used mainly in the animal feed industry. It can effectively degrade phytate phosphorus in plant-based feed ingredients and improve phosphorus utilization. It reduces the amount of phosphorus in livestock and poultry excreta, thereby reducing environmental pollution. It can also release other nutrients bound to phytate phosphorus, including minerals, amino acids, digestive enzymes and trace elements, improving the utilization of starch, protein, amino acids, trace elements and other nutrients. By eliminating the anti-nutritional effects of phytic acid, it promotes animal growth, improves production performance and effectively reduces feed costs.
