Product Description
Glucoamylase, also known as saccharifying enzyme, is produced from selected high-quality strains such as Aspergillus niger through fermentation, extraction, purification, formulation and related processing steps. It acts on the non-reducing ends of liquefied starch and hydrolyzes alpha-1,4 glucosidic bonds to produce glucose. In addition, glucoamylase can slowly hydrolyze alpha-1,6 glucosidic bonds, converting complex starch structures into short, linear-chain polysaccharides. It is widely used in the glucose, alcohol, Baijiu, beer, brewing, monosodium glutamate and antibiotic industries.
Application Information
During the production of alcohol, Baijiu and beer, glucoamylase effectively promotes starch hydrolysis, improving raw-material utilization and alcohol yield. In monosodium glutamate and starch-sugar production, it rapidly converts starch into the required sugars, thereby increasing production efficiency. In the brewing industry, glucoamylase can compensate for insufficient saccharifying power in various traditional starters, improving raw-material utilization.
Documentation, Storage and Safety
Packaging format, net weight, storage conditions and shelf life depend on the supplied grade. Enzyme proteins may cause respiratory or skin sensitization. Avoid inhaling powder, droplets or aerosols and use appropriate local ventilation and personal protective equipment. Request the current TDS, COA and SDS before handling or production use.
