Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-5110 is a coating binder for balancing surface appearance, flexibility and liquid resistance. Its polycarbonate-based polyurethane dispersion forms a level, glossy film and is suitable for metal, plastic, glass, natural leather and synthetic leather finishes. The liquid has low viscosity, specified at no more than 100 mPa·s at 30 °C. Film data include water absorption of 6-10% after 24 hours at 25 °C. Where additional water resistance is required, a compatible curing system may be evaluated. Confirm crosslinker selection, dosage, pot life and the required alcohol-rub procedure in formulation trials.

Formulation and Handling
Screen compatible curing agents when greater water resistance is required.
The indicated curing-agent trial range is approximately 1-5%; confirm the dosage basis, agent type and pot life before use.
Mix a validated two-component formulation thoroughly and use within its established working time.
- The modulus is not identified as a 100% modulus.
- Alcohol-rub performance requires an agreed alcohol concentration, load, cure schedule and test method; no universal cycle count is guaranteed.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Imballaggio e stoccaggio
50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 12 months under these conditions.
