Product Positioning
For bio-scouring of cotton, linen and other plant fibers to improve wetting and capillary effect while reducing the intensity of conventional strong-alkali scouring.
Mechanism
Selectively degrades the pectin network on the fiber surface, helping waxes, proteins and other non-cellulosic impurities detach and improving fabric hydrophilicity.
Typical Applications
- Bio-scouring of cotton knits, woven fabrics and selected linen fibers.
- Low-alkali, lower-temperature or short-process pretreatment.
- Processes prioritizing hand feel, controlled weight loss and strength retention.

Process note: Verify compatibility with wetting agents, chelating agents and the subsequent bleaching process.
Key Advantages and Process Limits
Mild conditions can lower the risk of fiber damage and improve wetting, capillary effect and dyeing uniformity. It should not be assumed to replace caustic scouring completely in every process.

Capillary rise, drop-absorption time, whiteness, weight loss and fabric strength.
The pH, temperature, dosage and time above are laboratory starting ranges, not fixed product specifications. Confirm the final process against the supplied grade, current TDS and COA, and laboratory and production-line trials.
Documentation, Storage and Safety
Packaging format, net weight, storage conditions and shelf life depend on the supplied grade. Enzyme proteins may cause respiratory or skin sensitization. Avoid inhaling powder, droplets or aerosols and use appropriate local ventilation and personal protective equipment. Request the current TDS, COA and SDS before handling or production use.
