MDEA Polyurethane Chain Extender and Epoxy Curing Agent
CHLUMICURE® MDEA is 4,4′-methylenebis(2,6-diethylaniline), an aromatic diamine identified by CAS 13680-35-8. It is a reactive component for polyurethane chain extension and epoxy curing. The product is also written as M-DEA.

Important Product Identity
This MDEA is the aromatic diamine with CAS 13680-35-8. It is not methyldiethanolamine (the alkanolamine sometimes also abbreviated MDEA). Specify the complete chemical name and CAS number when requesting a quotation or sample.
MDEA, M-CDEA and MMEA are different chemical products. Do not assume they can be exchanged at an identical addition level or with an unchanged processing schedule.
Grade Specifications and Documentation
Request the current TDS, SDS and available lot-specific COA before purchase. Confirm assay, melting range, moisture, appearance, impurity limits and the required test methods for the offered grade.
