Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-5137 is intended for coating systems that require gloss together with a relatively soft, extensible polyurethane film. It is supplied at a nominal solids level of 37% with a stated tolerance of ± 1 and has a 100% modulus of 2.5-3.5 MPa. Suggested substrates include metals, plastics, glass, natural leather and synthetic leather. The grade is suitable for screening in alcohol-resistant finishes, but the curing system is a material part of that assessment. Establish compatibility, crosslinker handling, cure conditions and a defined rub-test method before using any performance result in a finished-product specification.

Formulation and Handling
Validate any aziridine crosslinker with the full formulation and follow its current SDS.
Establish addition level, mixing procedure, pot life and curing schedule before production.
- The reported alcohol-rub result of 80 or more cycles involves an aziridine curing agent; alcohol concentration, load and test method are not specified. It is not a performance guarantee for the uncrosslinked resin.
- Agree the solids-content tolerance basis and test method for commercial supply.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg plastic drums or IBC totes.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 12 months under these conditions.
