Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-6059 is a waterborne polyurethane binder for formulations where a firm film and practical sanding behavior are important. It is positioned for wood primers and intermediate coats, industrial primers, floor finishes and coatings associated with abrasive tools. The grade is supplied as a milky translucent liquid and can be screened for its balance of film hardness, sandability, color development and resistance properties. Formulators should test sanding after the intended drying interval and verify compatibility with subsequent coating layers. This product's performance should be established in the complete formulation; no numerical modulus or pencil-hardness guarantee is assigned here.

Formulation and Handling
Evaluate sanding behavior at the actual drying time and film thickness.
Test intercoat adhesion with the intended finishing system.
Review the current SDS before handling.
- Sandability and film hardness must be verified in the finished primer or coating.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and sunlight. Stated storage period: 12 months.
