4,4′-Biphenol Usage
1. Rubber anti-aging agent and plastic antioxidant. As an anti-aging agent for rubber, it has a preventive effect on aging caused by oxygen and heat, and also has a certain protective effect on harmful metals. Non-polluting. It can be used in colorless vulcanized rubber products, rubber products for food packaging and medical latex products, as well as cold sulfurized products (such as medical gloves, avoiding sleeves, etc.). This product can be used alone or in combination with other antioxidants. It is also effective as a heat-resistant antioxidant for plastics.
2. Dye intermediates, such as synthetic photosensitive materials and the like.
3. Petroleum product stabilizers, for example as stabilizers for lubricating greases.
4. Raw materials for synthesizing high polymers. This product is excellent in heat resistance, so it can be used as a modified monomer for polyester, polyacrylic acid, polycarbonate, polyphenylene phthalate and epoxy resin to make excellent engineering plastics and composite materials. In particular, as a raw material of a liquid crystal polymer, it has reached an industrially practical level. Liquid crystal polymers have a variety of excellent properties, so they are widely used in military, aerospace and aerospace, electronics and telecommunications, composite materials, chemical equipment and so on. Liquid crystal polymers synthesized from DOD and other raw materials can also be spun to form high-strength fibers for the production of optical fiber reinforced materials, composite materials and ropes.
5. Used as an intermediate material for liquid crystal polymers. As a synthetic polymer, it is used as a modified monomer for polyester, polyurethane, polycarbonate, polysulfone and epoxy resin to produce excellent engineering plastics and composite materials because of its excellent heat resistance. Used as a rubber antioxidant and plastic antioxidant. A stabilizer for dye intermediates or petroleum products.
6. As a rubber anti-aging agent, the specification requirements are lower. The polymer monomer is required to be very strict, and generally requires a purity of ≥98% and an inorganic salt content of 30 ppm or less. The higher specification requirements are: pure white crystal or powder, initial melting point not lower than 281 ° C, content of 99.5% ~ 99.99%.
