1. Polymerization Inhibitor

Primarily used for the storage and transportation of unsaturated resins (such as monomers like acrylates, methacrylates, and styrene). It effectively inhibits free radical polymerization; an addition of only 0.01-0.1% is sufficient for effective inhibition, outperforming traditional hydroquinone. Furthermore, it is also a highly effective polymerization inhibitor for unsaturated polyester resins; an addition of 0.02% can maintain resin stability for over six months during production and storage.

2. Antioxidant

Used as an auxiliary antioxidant in the rubber, plastics, and oil industries, it can be combined with primary antioxidants (such as hindered phenols) to improve the aging resistance of materials, for example, extending the outdoor service life of rubber products by 20-30%. It is also used for antioxidant purposes in non-edible oils, fatty acid esters, and linseed oil systems.

3. Pharmaceutical Intermediate

Used in the synthesis of anti-tuberculosis drugs and antioxidant drugs (such as coenzyme Q series derivatives). The reactivity of its phenolic hydroxyl and methyl groups can be used for the precise construction of drug molecular structures.

4. Dye and Pigment Intermediates

Used in the synthesis of anthraquinone dyes and azo dyes. The color and solubility of dyes are adjusted through esterification or etherification of phenolic hydroxyl groups. Also used to prepare high-grade yellow organic pigments, producing products with bright colors and superior lightfastness (light fastness ≥6) compared to traditional pigments.

5. Pesticide Intermediates

Used in the synthesis of fungicides (such as thiophanate-methyl intermediates), herbicides, etc. Their derivatives have highly effective inhibitory effects on fungal diseases.

6. Cosmetic Additives

Added as antioxidants to skincare products to inhibit oil oxidation and extend product shelf life. The addition amount is generally ≤0.3%, meeting cosmetic safety standards.

7. Electronic Chemicals

High-purity (≥99.9%) methylhydroquinone can be used as a stabilizer in semiconductor photoresists, improving the storage stability and exposure accuracy of the photoresist.

8. Other Fine Chemical Intermediates

Also used as intermediates in fragrances, flavors, and synthetic materials.

什么是对苯二酚/2-甲基对苯二酚?

1.它是白色或接近白色的晶体,受热后可以升华,受潮后会变成黑色。 微溶于水,溶于乙酯和甲醇,不溶于石油醚。它是工业合成维生素 E 的重要中间体。

2.新型阻聚剂--甲苯氢醌是一种高效的不饱和树脂阻聚剂。一般在树脂中加入万分之二即可在生产和贮存中发挥良好的阻聚效果,可防止树脂聚合后硬化。稳定性可达半年以上;甲苯氢醌溶解性好,对产品无污染。不受温度和环境影响。只需一种产品即可保证树脂的质量。

3.对苯二酚不受温度影响,总能迅速与自由基反应,达到快速抑制聚合的目的,而叔丁基邻苯二酚受热分解后会失去抑制聚合的作用,甚至影响树脂的颜色;它不受环境影响,在有氧或无氧容器中都能抑制聚合,而对苯二酚在缺氧容器中不起作用。

4.使用托氢醌生产的树脂在引发体系的作用下,不会影响树脂的最终固化速度;托氢醌在高温固化型拉挤树脂中表现出优异的阻聚效果,是新一代不饱和树脂阻聚剂的新产品。

 

对苯二酚/2-甲基对苯二酚使用

1. 2-甲基对苯二酚/甲苯对苯二酚是工业合成维生素 E 的重要中间体,可通过与异植物醇侧链的缩合反应获得。

2.以 2-甲基氢醌/托鲁氢醌为主环,侧链 C 异植物醇在硫酸作为缩合剂的条件下,在乙酸乙酯中加热缩合即可得到维生素。 近年来,由于维生素 E 在医疗、食品、饲料等领域的广泛应用,维生素 E 产品在全球尤其是欧美市场持续走俏。

3.2-Methylhydroquinone / Toluhydroquinone 也是一种新型聚合抑制剂。

4.本产品可用作抗氧化剂。当自由基存在时,它们可以与自由基发生反应,消耗自由基。
