1. Core Component of Microbial Culture Media:

As a reducing agent and antibacterial agent in anaerobic culture media, it maintains a low-oxygen environment, inhibits aerobic bacteria, and promotes the growth of anaerobic bacteria such as Clostridium and Salmonella. It is used for the enrichment, isolation, and identification of anaerobic bacteria in clinical specimens, food, and environmental samples. Common addition concentrations are 0.05%-0.5% (w/v). It can also protect the sulfhydryl groups of enzymes from oxidation, and is used in microbiology and inflammation-related research.

2. Mining Flotation Inhibitor:

硫代乙醇酸钠(TGA)是一种重要的浮选抑制剂。它在铜钼矿浮选中用作铜矿物和黄铁矿的抑制剂。它对铜、硫等矿物有明显的抑制作用,能有效提高钼精矿的品位。硫代乙醇酸钠作为一种新型硫化矿的有效抑制剂,已在钼生产中成功应用多年,完全取代了剧毒抑制剂氰化钠。

硫代乙醇酸钠的用法

1.在铜铅分离应用中,硫代乙醇酸钠作为一种无毒的小分子抑制剂,对黄铜矿具有良好的抑制作用,可用于铜铅混合精矿的分离过程中,实现铜铅分离。铜铅混合精矿的除杂效果、分离过程中捕收剂的种类和用量、矿浆的 pH 值、巯基乙酸钠的用量等因素对铜铅分离效果有重要影响,但巯基乙酸钠的用量是最重要的影响因素,用量适当时,能较好地实现铜铅分离。当用量过大时,硫代乙醇酸钠对两者都有抑制作用。抑制机理:硫代乙醇酸钠与黄铜矿、方铅矿作用后的红外光谱曲线分叉移位,出现对称和不对称伸缩振动的-CH2 吸收谷和不对称伸缩振动的-COO-吸收谷等。在洗涤后的红外光谱曲线中,这些特征基团的吸收谷变得很弱,但并没有完全消失,这证明黄铜矿和方铅矿表面对硫代乙醇酸钠的物理吸附和化学吸附是并存的。

2.在高 pH 值矿浆中用硫酸铜活化闪锌矿,用石灰作为黄铁矿和黄铁矿的抑制剂,辅以硫代乙醇酸钠,可有效实现锌硫分离。工业生产试验的锌精矿品位为 45.10 %,作业回收率为 94.39%。硫代乙醇酸钠是一种中等毒性的药剂,对黄铁矿和黄铁矿有很好的抑制作用。它可以完全替代剧毒氰化物,实现锌硫无氰分离工艺,不仅可以保证锌精矿的品位和回收率等生产指标达到国家环保要求,还可以有效地降低锌精矿的生产成本。硫代乙醇酸钠对闪锌矿的抑制作用很小。自使用巯基乙酸钠以来,一直保持着良好的生产指标。
