Diethyl phthalate Usage
1. DEP is mainly used as a plasticizer, solvent, lubricant, fixative, foaming agent for colored or rare metal mine flotation, gas chromatography stationary liquid, alcohol denaturant, spray insecticide.
2. Diethyl phthalate is an intermediate of the rodenticides Dirat, Ratwan and Chlordecone, as well as an important solvent.
3. This product is compatible with cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate butyrate, polyvinyl acetate, cellulose nitrate, ethyl cellulose, polymethyl methacrylate, polystyrene, polyvinyl butyral, vinyl chloride- Most resins such as vinyl acetate copolymer have good compatibility.
4. Mainly used as a plasticizer for cellulose resin.
