Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WSI-6508 provides a modified inorganic silicon-based binder option for ceramic and glass finishes, floor protectants and other protective coatings. The grade is supplied as a translucent liquid and is designed for one-component, air-drying formulations. Its listed uses include hardened floors, terrazzo, bathroom surfaces and tunnel coatings, together with ceramic and glass bonding applications. Compared with a generic binder selection, attention should be given to substrate preparation, wetting, film build and drying. The reported 4H-6H hardness range is reference information only. Establish adhesion, stain resistance and durability in the complete coating before specifying the product for service.
