Product Overview
WPU-8082 is supplied as a slightly yellow, translucent waterborne polyurethane dispersion at 35 ± 2% solids. The grade is intended for formulations that combine film appearance, color development and adhesion across applications such as textile printing pastes, glass coatings, stationery inks and genuine-leather surface treatments. Its reported mechanical values describe a different film profile from softer high-elongation grades: 100% modulus of 10-15 MPa, tensile strength of 30-35 MPa and elongation at break of 200%. Select the binder through trials that assess both the required stiffness and the final formulation's adhesion and color appearance.

Formulation and Handling
Check pigment compatibility and color appearance in the completed ink or coating. Test adhesion and film flexibility on each selected substrate, including the actual glass or leather surface treatment.
- The 200% elongation value is reported without a minimum symbol or tolerance.
- A listed stationery-ink application does not establish compliance for any specific consumer product.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Protect from freezing and direct light. Stated storage period: 6 months.
