UV-1164 Application scenarios
1. Engineering Plastics and Polymer Materials
Used as a light stabilizer in polyamides (PA), polyesters (PET/PBT), polycarbonates (PC), etc.
Recommended addition amount is 0.1%-0.3%, which can significantly extend the service life of materials under outdoor or light exposure.
2. Food Contact Materials
Used as a stabilizer in polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and other food packaging materials.
Strict safety standards for dosage and migration must be followed to ensure food safety.
3. Tintas e revestimentos
Added to paint formulations in automotive, industrial, and other fields to protect the coating surface and underlying materials from UV damage.
It can improve the weather resistance and color retention of coatings.
4. Agricultural Sector
Used in greenhouse covering materials and agricultural films (including biodegradable films such as PBAT films) to enhance their resistance to UV aging. Helps extend the service life of agricultural facilities and materials and stabilize the internal environment.
5. Research and Development
Used as a UV absorber and fluorescent probe (such as for detecting hydrogen peroxide) in organic synthesis and biochemical experiments, and explored in cutting-edge fields such as targeted drug delivery.
