Monopotassium phosphite Application scenarios
1. High-Efficiency Agricultural Fertilizer:
A fully water-soluble, high-phosphorus, high-potassium fertilizer, suitable for foliar spraying, drip irrigation, or fertigation. It rapidly replenishes crops with phosphorus and potassium nutrients, promoting shoot growth, flower bud differentiation, fruit expansion and quality improvement, and earlier maturity. Suitable for various crops including citrus, melons, vegetables, and grains, it has good compatibility and can be used in conjunction with most pesticides and fertilizers.
2. Crop Disease Control:
It possesses both direct bactericidal and disease-inducing effects. Trivalent phosphorus has inhibitory effects on fungi (such as downy mildew and late blight) and bacteria (such as citrus canker). It can induce crops to produce lignin to strengthen cell walls, reducing disease invasion. It is often used as a disease prevention and adjunctive treatment agent.
3. Enhanced Crop Stress Resistance:
It enhances crops’ resistance to drought, cold, and salinity, reducing damage from adverse environmental conditions such as late spring frosts and droughts, and lowering the probability of nutrient deficiency or stress symptoms such as flower drop, fruit cracking, and leaf yellowing.
4. Soilless Cultivation and Horticultural Applications:
Suitable for hydroponics, substrate cultivation, and other soilless cultivation systems. Easily absorbed by roots and leaves, it does not antagonize micronutrients. It can be used for seedling strengthening, promoting flowering in flowers, and maintaining potted plants, enhancing plant growth and ornamental value.
5. Industrial Circulating Water Treatment:
As a bactericide, calcium and magnesium ion chelating agent, and scale inhibitor in circulating water systems, it prevents scale formation and inhibits microbial growth. It can replace some organophosphorus water treatment agents, reducing environmental pollution risks.
6. Organic Synthesis Auxiliary Agent:
Acting as an oxidant, reducing agent, and catalyst, it participates in the oxidation and reduction reactions of alcohols and ethers, assisting in the synthesis of ketones, acids, alcohols, and other organic products, improving reaction efficiency and yield.
7. Fertilizer and Chemical Intermediates:
Used in the production of compound fertilizers and other phosphate products. It can also be used as a raw material for the synthesis of related chemicals, providing basic material support for agricultural and chemical production.
8. Pharmaceutical and Scientific Research Fields:
Due to its antioxidant and antibacterial properties, it is used to prepare antioxidant and antiviral drugs or antibacterial agents; it can also be used as a nutrient additive and buffering component in biological culture media for microbial culture and scientific research experiments.
9. Postharvest Preservation of Fruits and Vegetables:
By inhibiting the growth of pathogens on the surface of harvested fruits and vegetables, it slows down the decay process and extends shelf life, and is commonly used in the preservation process of fruits and vegetables.
