Antioxidant 1520 Application scenarios
1. Synthetic Rubber and Elastomers
Polybutadiene rubber (BR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR), thermoplastic elastomers (TPE, SBS, SIS, etc.), natural rubber and latex.
Core application areas: Prevents gel formation, maintains color, molecular weight, and viscosity stability, and extends service life.
2. Plastics
Various general-purpose and engineering plastics such as PP, ABS, PE, PA, PS, EVA, etc.
Provides processing and long-term thermal stability protection, preventing polymer yellowing and performance degradation.
3. Lubricants and Synthetic Oils
Lubricating oils, greases, synthetic oils, etc.
As a lubricant antioxidant, it prevents oil oxidation and deterioration, extending oil life.
4. Adhesives and Sealants
Various adhesive and sealant compounds.
Improves the stability of adhesive systems and prevents performance degradation during storage and use.
Supplementary Usage Information
Dosagem: The recommended dosage is usually 0.05% to 0.3% (i.e., 0.05 to 0.3 parts per 100 parts of material), which needs to be determined experimentally based on the material system.
Environmental Characteristics: This product is an environmentally friendly antioxidant, and some sources indicate that it can be used in polymer products that come into contact with food.
Physical Form: At room temperature, it is a low-viscosity light yellow liquid, which is convenient for use and blending.
Efeito sinérgico: Although effective when used alone, it is even more effective when used in combination with phosphite auxiliary antioxidants (such as TNPP).
