Description
Product Overview
CHLUMICURE® 6300 is a water-dispersible aliphatic crosslinker for compatible neutral waterborne polymers. It is designed for two-component coating systems and has an anionic character, distinguishing it from nonionic crosslinker grades. The product information highlights mixing into waterborne resins, resistance to yellowing and improvements in film hardness, adhesion, water resistance and chemical resistance. Its 20.5-21.5% NCO content must be considered when establishing the mixing ratio; a lower dosage than another curing agent should not be assumed without calculation and testing. Verify mixing quality, working time and final performance under actual application conditions, and consult the current SDS before handling.
Grade Characteristics
- Anionic aliphatic crosslinker
- Water-dispersible incorporation profile
- NCO-functional two-component curing
- Supports resistance to yellowing and coating durability

- Crosslinking of compatible neutral waterborne polymers
- Coatings requiring hardness, adhesion, water and chemical resistance
Formulation and Handling
Validate the mixing ratio, incorporation method and actual pot life with the selected binder.
If dilution is necessary, use only a confirmed compatible, low-moisture, hydroxyl-free polyurethane-grade solvent.
Consult the current SDS for handling, ventilation and protective-equipment requirements.
Use promptly after opening and keep containers sealed when not in use.
- The reported working time is 3-4 hours, but formulation, mixing ratio and test temperature are not specified; verify actual pot life.
- Density and viscosity test temperatures are not specified.
- Water-dispersibility and low free-monomer content do not remove the need for SDS-based precautions.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Packaging and Storage
50 kg or 200 kg drums.
Keep sealed in a cool, dry place. Stated storage period: 6 months. Use as soon as practical after opening. Confirm the applicable storage temperature with the current product documentation.
