Product Overview
WPU-618 is a transparent, bluish-cast aliphatic polyurethane dispersion intended for waterborne paper inks, wood coatings, metal coatings and industrial finishes. It is supplied at 30 ± 2% solids, with a pH of 7-9 and a viscosity range measured at 25 °C. The performance description emphasizes adhesion together with water, solvent and rubbing resistance. These characteristics should be evaluated in a complete formulation with the actual substrate and drying process. Specialist nail-coating development is also a listed application, but it requires separate composition, safety and regulatory assessment before any cosmetic use is approved.

Formulation and Handling
Use substrate-specific trials to establish coating adhesion, hardness and resistance. For cosmetic applications, review the required composition, safety and regulatory documentation separately.
- Confirm the required hardness using the final film and an agreed test procedure.
- A listed nail-coating application is not a cosmetic compliance or safety certification.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
