Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® TH-255E is a waterborne rheology modifier selected for strong low-shear thickening and a thixotropic, pseudoplastic flow profile. It is intended for latex paints and other emulsion-based coatings, including formulations with high pigment loading or high solids. The grade can help build structure at rest while permitting flow during application, and its listed characteristics include pigment wetting, reduced spatter and anti-settling behavior. The balance depends on the binder, pigments and other surface-active ingredients. Determine the addition level through testing of low-shear viscosity, recovery after shear, application behavior and storage stability; no universal dosage is specified for this grade.

Formulation and Handling
Select dosage from formulation trials; do not transfer another thickener's dosing range without evaluation.
Check recovery after shear, storage stability and application behavior in the complete formulation.

- No fixed addition range or universal equivalence to another thickener is specified.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and sunlight. Stated storage period: 12 months.
