Dimethyldioctylammoniumchloride Gebruik
Dioctadecyldimethylammoniumchloride is een antimicrobieel middel op basis van quaternair ammonium dat gebruikt wordt als bacteriostaticum, desinfectiemiddel en/of microbicide. Het is ideaal voor gebruik in recirculerende watersystemen waar het onder controle houden van schadelijke micro-organismen zonder overmatige schuimvorming essentieel is. Het wordt voornamelijk gebruikt op de volgende gebieden:
1. Injectie van olieveldwater, industrieel circulerend koelwater biocide.
2. Wordt gebruikt als ontsmettingsmiddel, schimmeldodend middel en houtconserveringsmiddel.
3. Gebruikt als motwerende stof voor textiel.
4. Bij de behandeling van harde oppervlakken kan het gemengd worden met chloordioxide om bacteriën te doden.
