Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-X65 is a self-matting waterborne polyurethane binder for flexible surface-finishing systems. Its polyether-based aliphatic structure is positioned for PVC artificial leather, calendered leather, paper and related soft substrates. The resin is intended to develop low gloss and a fine velvety feel while supporting film clarity, substrate adhesion and blending compatibility. It is supplied as a milky white liquid with viscosity of 500-1000 mPa·s. Evaluate the resin in the complete finishing formulation, since pigment selection, added binders, application weight and drying conditions affect matting, black appearance, touch and adhesion on the finished article.

Formulation and Handling
Check blend compatibility and pigment effects before production mixing.
Confirm gloss, tactile effect and adhesion at the intended coating weight and drying schedule.
- No numerical 100% modulus or fixed gloss value is specified.
- Matting effect and touch should be assessed on the intended substrate and complete formulation.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg plastic drums or IBC totes.
Store at 5-35 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 6 months under these conditions.
