Product Overview
WPU-612 is a waterborne polyurethane dispersion developed for application-specific leather finishing systems. It is intended for formulations requiring a balance of medium film hardness, gloss, fullness and adhesion. The grade is listed for both intermediate and top finishing layers, as well as leather edge paints. Water, toluene and flex resistance are part of its qualitative performance profile. Compatible anionic resin blends may be evaluated to adjust the finished coating, but each blend should be checked for dispersion stability, application behavior and the required leather performance before production.

Formulation and Handling
Check compatibility before blending with other anionic resins. During storage, keep the dispersion separate from curing agents; any deliberate crosslinking formulation requires controlled compatibility and pot-life trials.
- Confirm the current grade-specific solids and pH specifications with the supplied material before formulation scale-up.
- Leather adhesion, flex behavior and chemical resistance depend on the complete finishing system.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

Store at 5-35 °C in a cool, dry, ventilated place. Protect from freezing and direct light and avoid direct contact with curing agents. Stated storage period: 12 months.
