Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-6136 is a polyurethane dispersion built on polyester chemistry for waterborne ink and coating development. PVC inks and other high-gloss finishes are its principal application targets. It is intended to combine a smooth surface and medium-soft film with adhesion, water resistance and solvent resistance. Compatible crosslinkers may be screened where additional performance is required, but the selected chemistry, addition level and working time must be established in trials. Validate the complete formulation on the intended PVC grade, including effects from plasticizers, surface preparation and drying conditions. The recommended storage range for this grade starts at 15 °C.

Formulation and Handling
Test the actual PVC substrate and any surface treatment before use.
Evaluate crosslinker compatibility, dosing and pot life separately if a crosslinked system is required.
- This is a polyurethane dispersion, not an independently specified polyester resin.
- No numerical modulus, weathering duration or universal adhesion rating is specified.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Imballaggio e stoccaggio
50 kg plastic drums or IBC totes.
Store at 15-35 °C. Protect from freezing and direct light. Stated shelf life: 12 months under these conditions.
