Skenario aplikasi
1. As a Rubber Vulcanization Accelerator
This is its primary use. It is a delayed-action accelerator, meaning it does not easily cause scorching (premature vulcanization) during the initial processing stages, providing a safe processing time.
• In natural rubber: Its performance is similar to the commonly used accelerator CZ, but with slightly better delayed action (scorching safety).
• In styrene-butadiene rubber: When used alone, its scorching performance may be inferior to accelerator CZ, but this can be improved by using it in combination with stearic acid, and it can also improve the tensile strength of the vulcanized rubber.
2. As a Rubber Vulcanizing Agent
This product can also be used alone as a vulcanizing agent. To obtain better vulcanization results, it is usually used in combination with a small amount of other accelerators, such as thiuram-type (e.g., TMTD) or dithiocarbamate-type (e.g., PZ) accelerators. This not only accelerates the vulcanization speed but also improves the aging resistance of the product.
3. Application Characteristics in Specific Rubbers
In chloroprene rubber (such as type W): When used in combination with accelerator PZ (zinc dimethyldithiocarbamate), it can accelerate the vulcanization speed while maintaining good scorching safety, resulting in vulcanized products with excellent physical properties.
