Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-1162 is intended to balance film strength and extensibility in waterborne finishes for flexible materials. Its stated tensile strength at break of at least 15 MPa and elongation at break of at least 800% provide a starting mechanical profile for printing pastes, leather treatment and elastic substrate coatings. The anionic aliphatic dispersion has a pH of 6-8 and a viscosity range of 100-1000 mPa·s. Develop the final rheology for the application method and verify pigment compatibility, film continuity, hand feel and adhesion under the actual drying and service conditions.

Evaluate additive and pigment compatibility before production blending.
Establish drying conditions and verify the properties of the coated substrate.
- Free-film mechanical values do not replace application-specific substrate testing.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 12 months under these conditions.
