Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® TH-255B is an associative rheology modifier intended to balance mid-shear thickening with flow and leveling. It can be evaluated in architectural paints, industrial coatings for rigid or flexible substrates, waterborne inks and adhesives. The product information emphasizes brush feel, hiding, uniform film formation and resistance-related properties in the finished coating. Unlike a low-shear-focused thickener, this grade is selected for the application-viscosity and leveling balance at intermediate shear. Use the documented dosage range as a formulation starting point, then measure the complete flow profile, storage stability and finished-film appearance with the actual resin and pigment package.

Formulation and Handling
The documented starting range is 0.5-2.0% of the total formulation; confirm the dosing basis and optimize for the required rheology.
Verify the addition sequence and need for dilution in the actual formulation.

- Mid-shear performance is formulation-dependent; unchanged gloss or pH-independent behavior is not guaranteed.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Emballage et stockage
50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and sunlight. Stated storage period: 12 months.
