Product Overview
WPU-302 is an aromatic polyurethane dispersion for applications that combine an even coating appearance with repeated flexing or extension. Its reported characteristics include a smooth film surface, gloss and good flex resistance. Listed uses cover waterborne inks, textile printing pastes, paper surface treatment and coatings for electrical hardware. The dispersion has a pH of 7-9 and a reported viscosity of 50-200 mPa·s. Formulators should evaluate the grade within the complete system, including pigment loading, additives and drying conditions, because the behavior of the finished coating depends on more than the resin specification.

Formulation and Handling
Check dispersion stability after adding pigments and formulation additives. Confirm the required film appearance and flex performance with trials using the intended substrate and drying process.
- Flex resistance is a qualitative product characteristic; a specific test method and acceptance limit should be agreed for the application.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation.
