Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-504 provides a waterborne adhesive resin for evaluating paper, textile and plastic bonding systems. The anionic aliphatic polyurethane dispersion is intended to form a level film and develop adhesion on suitable substrates. Its 45 ± 2% solids content gives formulators a defined starting point for coat weight and drying trials. No universal substrate compatibility or bond-strength value is specified. Test the actual surface treatment, substrate pair, drying process and final service conditions before selecting the formulation. Additional binders, thickeners or crosslinkers should be introduced only after compatibility and working-life checks.

Formulation and Handling
Test the actual substrate pair and any required surface pretreatment.
Establish coating weight, drying and bonding conditions before scale-up.
Check compatibility before adding other binders or additives.
- No universal adhesion guarantee, activation temperature or numerical bond-strength specification is offered.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.
Verpackung und Lagerung
50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 6 months under these conditions.
