Product Overview
CHLUMICRYL® WPU-7011 provides a waterborne film-forming binder where gloss, film uniformity and flexibility are important. The cationic aliphatic polyurethane chemistry is suitable for evaluating leather surface treatments, transfer-printing formulations, pen and inkjet inks, and paper finishing systems. Its viscosity of 50-200 mPa·s offers a starting point for liquid formulation, while the film is designed to tolerate bending. Because the dispersion is cationic and acidic, compatibility with pigments, additives and other binders should be checked before blending. Select the drying process and final coating weight through trials on the intended substrate.

Formulation and Handling
Check compatibility with the complete formulation, particularly when using binders or additives of a different ionic type.
Evaluate drying conditions, adhesion and film flexibility on the intended substrate before production.
- Viscosity test temperature and method are not specified; establish an agreed quality-control method for commercial supply.
Check binder compatibility, substrate preparation, application conditions and final coating or bond performance in your own formulation. Waterborne use does not by itself establish solvent-free status or a hazard classification. Consult the current safety data sheet and use appropriate industrial handling controls.

50 kg or 120 kg plastic drums.
Store at 5-30 °C in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from freezing and light. Stated shelf life: 6 months under these conditions.
