⚠️ Health & Safety Considerations
Health Impact Studies:
DPHP belongs to the phthalate compound family. Research indicates these substances may exhibit endocrine-disrupting properties. However, toxicological studies also note that the No Observed Adverse Effect Level (NOAEL) identified in rat studies is 40 mg/(kg bw·d). Based on this, the derived tolerable daily intake for humans is approximately 200 µg/kg.
Environment and Exposure:
DPHP is widely present in the environment, and human exposure occurs through multiple pathways. Studies have detected this substance in indoor dust, and its metabolites have been identified in human urine monitoring, indicating a certain level of exposure.
