1. Dioctyl sebacate is one of the excellent varieties of cold-resistant plasticizers, suitable for polymer products such as polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride copolymer, cellulose resin and synthetic rubber, with high plasticizing efficiency, low volatility, cold resistance, heat resistance, good light resistance and certain electrical insulation, etc. It is especially suitable for use in cold-resistant wire and cable, artificial leather, plates, sheets, films and other products.
2. Due to the large migration, easy to be extracted by hydrocarbon solvents, not resistant to water and limited compatibility with the base resin, it is often used as an auxiliary plasticizer with phthalic acid-based main plasticizers.
